An opportunity has now arisen for an IT Network Support Engineer to join the team.

As the IT Network Support Engineer you will provide exceptional network/IT support to clients both remotely and on-site. This will involve installing Windows, Exchange & Small Business Servers for clients and the role will encompass network support, software support, security and system backups.

This role would suit a candidate with network 1st & 2nd Line telephone support experience who wishes to join a fantastic team within a small but expanding IT company to further develop their career.

Your responsibilities & duties will include:

• Providing on-site support and conducting site visits to clients when required.
• Providing Remote support for both hardware & software for clients.
• Troubleshooting hardware/software operational issues.
• Building & configuring PC’s & server hardware.
• Configuring routers, firewalls & VPN’s as required.

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• Experience in a similar role, installing & pre-configuring servers on Windows 2003/2008.
• A track record of working with switches, routers, VPN, Lans’ & WANs.

Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, both written & verbal. You will need a positive and enthusiastic outlook, and the ability to meet deadlines. Your ability to multi-task, excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivated, flexible approach is also vital.
